Packaging

 

Contrairement aux cartes LAN PARTY, la gamme INFINITY fait l'impasse sur tout les gadgets divers. La boite est également plus sobre et retient moins l'attention :

 

 

Boîte "design" qui est toutefois plus apte à figurer dans les vitrines des magasins que les précédentes. L'arrière de la boite présente la carte et ses différentes fonctionnalités :

 

Rien de bien exceptionnel donc. Voyons maintenant l'intérieur de la boite. Comme le dirait un célébre testeur de chez nous "ce n'est pas la packaging qui risque d'écraser la carte mère" :

Si la gamme LAN PARTY était dotée d'une débauche d'accessoire, ce n'est pas le cas des INFINITY. En tout et pour tout, on trouve :

  • Une carte-mère
  • Une disquette de driver RAID ICH5
  • Une disquette de driver RAID HighPoint
  • Deux nappes UDMA100
  • Une nappe 34 points pour lecteur D7
  • Une nappe SATA150
  • Une plaque ATX
  • Un CD de driver
  • Un manuel de la carte mère
  • Un manuel du controleur RAID

Bref, le strict minimum et on aurait préféré avoir droit à deux connecteurs SATA. Ceci dit, l'idée de founir les disquettes pour l'installation de windows est interessante.
